march.......

Hello to each and everyone of you.  March is here and promises of spring are near.  A field of flowers, big puffy white clouds, blue skies, caterpillars, butterflies, birds singing songs of springtime, the laughter of children at play....Oh the lovely sights and sounds of spring.

The old world beauty of the calla lily is certainly a spring bridal favorite.   An unfussy flower, beautiful in its simplicity.  This lovely lily was photographed a few springs ago inside our court garden, simply beautiful don't you think.  What will you be growing in your garden this spring.

Continue to enjoy a lovely week.  Hang in there Spring is on the way!

Smiles♥

Hi sweet Beverly,
Marshall and I are sitting in the dining room having a late lunch. We are both coming out of our bronchitis very well except that I still have quite a bit of wheezing and coughing.

I had started a post last week about the flowers I wanted to plant in my backyard and then became too sick to even go outside. Hopefully this weekend, I can run over to the garden center and pick out some lovely flowers. I thought about zinnias, peonies and some rose bushes. Hopefully I can get enough information about how to grow them without killing them...lol!

Calla lilies are so beautiful...I can only dream about growing those!

I can say spring is not here yet. A cold wind was blowing today (so the day was sunny), almost icy, but the tits and robins were singing beautifully early this morning. That is a good sign that in the dephts of earth spring is working :o)

Primroses, narcissus, tulips and yacinths will grow in the garden this spring.

Hello, dear Beverly,
I am not sure just why, but I woke up thinking of you this morning. I do hope all is ok with you and yours.

Your flower is beautiful. It is still a little early here for flowers to bloom...not long, tho. We are so very dry out here on the plains of West Texas..no snows, no rains...we will blow away with all the sand come springtime. Oh, dear. not a good thought. Our springs aren't the season we look forward to out here.
Hope you have a blessed day..

What a beautiful flower! It seems a natural modern sculpture. Thank you, dear Beverly, to share your photos.
Yes, spring is coming, we are all waiting for it impatiently. Days are longer, sun is shining, first little flowers are shy but present, but the temperature here in Limousin is cold; I think we have to wait again a few weeks to see really spring settled.
Enjoy a beautiful weekend!

The funniest thing just happened. I told my husband that my sister just emailed me to see if I wanted some calla lily roots/bulbs, then I opened your blog and what did I see but calla lilies. How lovely, I just love them! Happy weekend.
