Have you ever had a season or time in your life when you simply and what seems to be unconsciously reach for a certain color. For me it has been pretty shades of green.
Just a few days ago I purchased a lovely new pattern book. I have to admit the knitting patterns in the book are quite lovely, but the pretty green lacy socks on the cover sure helped with my decision to purchase.:o) Oh beautiful green how I love you so.....but could it be that this long and wonderful love affair with beautiful green just may be ending, for just today I saw the most beautiful shade of blue that caused my heart to simply melt.:o)
What is your present favorite color. I would really love to know.:o) Each of you enjoy a most lovely week.
By the way, I found this lovely pattern on Ralvery. I'm using a beautiful green malabrigo worsted merino, it certainly has been a joy knitting this one.:o)

Definitely green for me. All shades. I am starting to love yellow although I used to not like that color at all!

I love all colors. I especially love the color of green you have right now. Apple Green is a great color or mossy green. I love to wear sweaters in that color. You have a great week too.

Dear Beverly, this is indeed a lovely shade of green :o) At present I'm thinking of cool grey and white, with splashes of deep red or baby pink. Happy knitting, sweet friend :o)

Dear Beverly, your green shade is very soft and peaceful. My favorite colour is blue, and especially turquoise. For me, at the contrary of what people use to consider, blue is not a cold colour but a warm colour because I associate blue with the sunny sky above the sea, and turquoise seems to me to be a warm colour too, in reality or in painting.

Ooo... that is a pretty green, Beverly! I've been slow to loving green. Apart from admiring it in the great outdoors, it was never one of "my colors". But I do now appreciate soft sage or jade greens--even a bright green like this one you show strikes my fancy. ;o) But my fave colors are pink, white and aqua, I turn to them often. Gray too. That's a lovely shade of green, Beverly. I'm afraid that green isn't on my list of favourite colours ... but I do love shades of white and taupes, blue, aqua and lately, a bit of pink keeps showing up! Have a lovely week! xo

That's a pretty pattern with pretty yarn. I can't seem to make up my mind about a favorite color ... I go in cycles. I've liked all the greens in the decorating shows, but if I could buy a new couch, I think I'd pick a pale butter yellow. But by the time I get something, I'll have changed my mind five times! Bess
My first thought was rose, then I thought - no wait, purple.
Then I thought about yellow, but when you mentioned green, I had to admit that I've been loving apple green this past year. Oh, and I've lately been enjoying spring green and aqua together....
I give up! I guess I just like COLOR in general!

I love this post with beautiful yarn and knitting. :) We are much alike in this. Those greens are gorgeous! I've developed a great love for greens in just the past few years. They are at the top of my color list these days.

What a pretty green. This is one color I cannot wear and just love. It makes me look sick.
That is one of my favourite colours, I wear a lot of green Not just any green. I like the vibrant limes and rich greens. Maybe because I come from a country that is so green. I also love pink and lavender.
