Picnics, sunshine, the laughter of children....the fun days of summer. But I am now longing for Autumn, the quiet season. Are you longing for Autumn too.
I so love Autumn. It is a very special time of year. One where I no longer feel the humidity and the times I spent with my Dad increased because of football and soccer games to watch.
Autumn has such beautiful and various colours! Its light is instable but very special. I like autumn but for the moment, I like our summer end too and it is nice to see the sunshine. We can wait a little before autumn. Have a very nice week, Beverly. Anne
Hi Beverly, and yes I am soo longing for Autumn. I love everything about that particular season. The coolness of the air, the change into something new (season), the beautiful colors. The colors of the season alone are artfully inspiring. I do think that Spring and Autumn are my favorite seasons.
Also, thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment. It's always inspiring when other's like your work.
Oh yes, it's been a long, long summer! I'm looking forward to cool breezes chasing the heat away until next year. I'm happy to say our nights have begun to cool just a bit, but even a little bit's cause for rejoicing. \O/ Praise the Lord! Have a great week, my friend!:)
In many ways, yes! Much as I get sad to see summer go, as it is the best & loveliest season here in Norther Europe, each season has its glories to look forward to. I look forward to sweater days, knitting a shawl, candle & fireside glow, crunch of leaves, wood smoke drifting in the air.. ah, yes, autumn can come! :o) Happy Days, Beverly ((HUGS))
Yes and no. Yes, because I like the bright colors of the leaves, the pale hues of Japanese anemones and asters, the misty mornings, the picking of mushrooms (we are lucky to live close by the forests) the smell of the first wood fires in the fireplace, and no, because the roses are faded and I will have to wait for late spring to see them again :o)
I love Autumn ~ the beautiful colours of the leaves, the cool nights and temperate days...the hint of woodsmoke on the air and being cosy at home with a good book or craft project (if only I had the time this year!)
Yes indeed, Beverly. I absolutely love Autumn and really look forward to it. Thank you so much for your very sweet comment on my blog the other day. You are such a loving and supportive lady.By the way, I'm having a little giveaway, so please come over and participate if you'd like! Have a lovely Labor Day weekend!
Dear Beverly, I am not ready for summer to go :o( The leaves here have started falling, much too early for me. Oh well :o) Have a blessed weekend, my dear.

Hi Beverly. Yes, I long for Fall because I so love fall. I wrote a poem once and it went like this:
The leaves are falling, falling, falling.
The wind is blowing, blowing, blowing,
I miss you my love.
It wasn't for anyone but just for the feel of Fall. :) Have a great day Beverly.

I loved spending time with him.

Oh yes, I welcome Autumn with open arms. I welcome new seasons of my life the same, but sometimes I don't like the hard ones. :D
