A Little Pear And A Tip.....

Hello all! Hope you are having a lovely week. Mine is moving along just beautifully.:o) Do you love pincushions like I do. This sweet little pear pincushion I made several months back and thought it was time to really use it. The stem is made from a little found twig, I thought it added a sweet little touch:o) I deeply wanted to share the pattern with you but have seem to have misplaced it....but all is not lost.:o) I found another free pattern very similar to this one on a fabulous site called "tipnut", and what a wonderful site it is! "Tipnut" is filled to the brim with you guested it.... tips! Tips on cleaning, crafts, DIY projects, food, gardening, health and beauty and so much more. This is one place you have got to visit!:o)

The format is fun and friendly. I certainly enjoyed my stay and will be visiting quite often. Drop by and take a peek, I think you will approve.:o) There is even a newsletter you can sign up for. I cannot wait to hear what you think. Take care and chat with you soon.

Smiles.....

Beverly

Good Morning Beverly,

I do love pin cushions and I don't even sew. There is just something comfy about them somehow.

Your pear is adorable. I love the ribbon and the fabric color.

Have a lovely day.

VERY pretty, Beverly! I love pin cushions too.. tee-hee... I have one that's an apple made of felted wool--I use it all the time, it's so cute. Yours has such glamor with the ribbon and pearly pins. Thanks for the tips... :o) Happy Day ((HUGS))

Hello, dear Beverly! This model is original and you made it very carefully, because it is very pretty and done with delicacy. Thank you for the link to the blog of models for pincushions: I visited it, there are a lot of good ideas. I wish you a very pleasant weekend.

Dear Beverly,
this pin cushion is so lovely that it is a pity to use it as a pin cushion instead of an element of decoration in the house.
I love the colors....

I do like that little pin cushion. And, I do have a "thing" for them. I'm going to be buying a Cubby Cabinet (see 2-3 posts down on my blog) and I am gathering and looking for small treasures to fill it with. May have a couple of cushions in there. Can't wait!

Thanks for your visit today. You are welcome to come back and write a Haiku. I would love to see what you come up with!

Love, hugs, and mush, KJ

OOO, Beverly...I was so thrilled when I saw that you had been to visit. It's been too long, my sweet friend. I do hope your health is much better and that things in your world are right again.

My mother sewed all my life and she always had just a plain, red, tomato shaped pin cushion. I still get a warm fuzzy glow when I see one. :)
Your cushion is lovely.
Take care, my friend and have a joyous 4th.

Your pear pin cushion is so appealing. I've been working with felt too, and really should make myself another pin cushion with it. Never thought of that.

I love tips!! :D I'll check out this website too. Thanks
