Settling In....

Hello to each of you! Hope the first few days of the new year were beautiful ones for you. I've been busily trying to create some order in my little studio. Christmas was quite busy and I am afraid things became a little unorganized.:o) Paper here, beads over there, yarn piled on the table with ribbon tossed to and fro. By Wednesday it should be all better.:o)

Thanks to each and everyone of you who purchased from Cri Designs during Christmas. I tell you I never expected such a wonderful response, a beautiful surprise indeed. I think I will spend the next few days organizing and sketching new designs for both Cri and Tea Time. I am looking forward to a wonderfully creative year with emphases on pushing myself out of my comfort zone, simply spreading my creative wings just a little more.:o) Any special plans?

Smiles...

Beverly

Beverly, sounds like you're off to a great year! I'm so happy for you!

As for me, I just have a lot of thinking to do. Self reflecting, etc. I'm afraid I still have growing up to do my friend. But with Christ beside me, I can do all things!

It is not as easy to type with one hand but there is a puppy in the other one. She will take a lot of attention early this year.
my candles are seeming to have found a market so I will invest energy there.
Most importantly, the boys graduate in May....much work to do before then...2010 promises to be very interesting!

What delicate butterflies! I like the end of your text very much. "Pushing myself out of my comfort zone, simply spreading my creative wings just a little more": it is poetic and exactly what I need to read and to do. It's a wonderful perspective for 2010. Thank you, dear Beverly! Let the new year be full of creation and new ideas!

Sounds like you are off to a great start. I will be stretching my wings by learning new techniques in my knitting as well as my beading. I look forward to a productive year, learning many new things not only about my crafts but myself with the help of my Savior, Jesus Christ. Many Blessings new friend.

Hi Beverly....even though I didn't do any crafting for the holidays, my sewing room is still a mess. I plan to get her all cleaned up by the weekend. Pray for me....I'm gonna need it!

Love,
Amy

Yes, January always seems to be the time to get organized and regroup for the new year. That is my plan right now, plus getting my bookkeeping and taxes done early. Then there is that sewing project that has been hanging in my closet for 25 years. I plan on doing that this year. The list is long, but I am looking forward to the fun and creativity, filled in with many cups of tea.

Hi Beverly

Love the sweet little butterflies. Are they made out of paper? I made a bunch last year using paper from an old book. I them put them on wire stems so now they look like a bouquet of butterflies.
I have been in the organizing mode too. The other day I came across a little book called Organize Now by Jennifer Berry it was calling my name and so I just had to bring it home with me.
