Looking A Lot Like Christmas!

Oh my that time has finally come! Like so many of you I so enjoy Christmas! A time when we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I am so excited about our Saviour! He has so beautified my life.... As my Dear Sweet Mother would often say "If I had ten thousand tongues it still would not be enough to tell of His goodness". Oh how I miss my sweet Mother so. She also loved Christmas and looked forward to driving the city looking for the prettiest lighted house.:o) What must it be like to be in His presence as my sweet Mother is. Joy unspeakable joy and full of glory!!:o)

The coming weeks will be quite busy in the studio with knitting, cardmaking and more. By the way, I have some new jewelry designs to share with you I think you will love!:o) I will post them in a few days. For those of you who love to shop handmade don't wait too long to make your purchases. Christmas is not far away and certainly has a way of slipping upon you kinda quickly:o) Each of you enjoy a most beautiful week. Chat with soon.

A Wonderful Day....

Hope each of you enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving day! Oh my goodness, our dear daughter and sweet son-in-law were indeed the chefs this turkey season!:o) The food was absolutely delicious! Everything was beautiful. Our little grandson who is now old enough to enjoy table food discovered he really loves cranberry sauce, I mean really loves it!:o) Our granddaughter Jasmine had her fill of her favorite pumpkin pie. I tell you my friends we enjoyed a beautiful day filled with thanksgiving, gratitude, love and laughter.

Honey and I plan to take a long drive up the coast today. I am so looking forward to it, and judging from the beauty of this morning the drive should be a lovely one. Enjoy a beautiful weekend each and everyone of you.

A Little Something For Me!

Hello all! Hope you enjoyed a lovely weekend. Honey and I spent most of our weekend with cleaning, laundry and other little chores. We also visited my Father with a big dish of lasagna and his favorite garlic bread, he loved it! I tell you, my sweet Daddy is indeed something special and a little spoiled too.:o)

As you know I have been doing a little knitting and made these cuddly soft and warm scarves just for me. Like many knitters, you so enjoy knitting for others but sometimes you just need to knit a little something for yourself. I knitted at least a dozen of these pretty scarves last holiday season. A simple stitch knit on big needles with a luscious yarn, now that's a good thing:o)


I think this will be one busy week for so many of us. Thanksgiving is only a few days away!:o) I am so looking forward to visiting all of you and enjoying all your wonderful holiday recipes. Take care.

Hello all! My goodness was this a quick week or what.:o) The old saying...time waits on no one most certainly rang true this past week.:o) I sure hope each of you enjoyed a most wonderful week. I wanted to take a few moments to wish you a lovely weekend and share with you a little shop news.

As some of you already know, I now have a web site for Cri Designs!:o) A sweet and simple little site that I plan to add a shopping cart to the beginning of the year. I had a little trouble with my home page photo this morning and hope it is there when you visit. Also there are pretty blooms in Tea Time and Roses The Shoppe. If I must say so myself these little earrings are the sweetest ever. Be sure and drop by and take a look and tell me what you think.:o) My poor thumb slowed production this week, and will be adding some new pieces to both Etsy and 1000markets shops in the next few days. I also have some really pretty necklace ideas I think you will love! Thanks for taking these few moments with me my friends. You and your family enjoy a most beautiful weekend. Sweet Little Angels....

As I sit here in my little studio eyes still heavy with sleep, I am in complete awe at how beautiful a morning it is. I mean we have had many beautiful mornings as of late, autumn seems to do that just perfectly. But this one is amazingly beautiful. The air is cool and the morning sky is clear with the prettiest blue ever. The leaves gentle sway beneath the breezes as if applauding the beauty of the morning. Autumn mornings are like none other it seems. You know my friends each morning that is given to us is a gift. I often remind those close to me how important it is to consider each and every day as a gift. Not everyone gets it and far too many take advantage of it. So I constantly remind myself to cherish the gift of another day, hold it close to my heart and do something wonderful with it.


Are these the sweetest little angels ever, I just had to share them with you. They are the work of Susan Lordi and oh so precious. I gasp when I saw them and knew I had to take a few of these sweeties home with me.:o) The collection is called Willow Tree. The figurines are so peaceful and were designed to convey a feeling or emotion with sweet little gestures. The heart indeed does remind me of friendship. The sweet little one with the flowers, understanding and kindness. Out stretched arms, lover of all things and the sweetie holding the flowers behind her back, simplicity and charm. I sure hope your week has been a beautiful one thus far. I am taking it pretty easy this week and enjoying a little knitting and some reading. My left thumb has been giving me some pain. Hello! Hope each of you are enjoying a most lovely week. Mine is pretty wonderful thus far.:o) I took a short little break from the studio and doing some reading, so relaxing. I wanted to share a beautiful reading with you from Leaves Of Gold. A beautiful book filled with the most beautiful prayers, inspirational verse and prose from some of the best authors both Ancient and Modern. My Dear Sweet Mother bought me my first copy of Leaves Of Gold many years ago and I have so enjoyed it. It is old with beautiful patina on its pages, I keep it tucked safely away and read from my new copy. If you are familiar with the book you know how wonderful it is, if not and enjoy beautiful writings it surely would make a beautiful addition to your library. Enjoy the writing.

The Winners Are!

Hello to each of you! Hope you enjoyed a most fabulous weekend and a wonderful Halloween. We had a few sweet little trick or treaters in our neighborhood, but not as many as last year. I cannot believe just how quickly this year has flown by, it is almost Christmas once again.:o)

Now to announce the winners.
