Simple Things....

Hello to each and every one of you! Hope you are enjoying a most beautiful week! Just a few days ago our sweet and wonderful neighbor Jim brought over these breathtaking hydrangeas:o) Many of you remember me telling you about Jim. He loves flowers and has an incredible green thumb. Honey and I look forward to the weekly gentle knock of Jim standing holding yet another sweet gift of his flowers. It is moments like these that warm the heart.:o) He knows he does not have to, but judging from his smile it brings him great joy to share with others.

I have been spending quite a few hours in the studio as of late, a wonderful thing for I am getting things done. I will be ready for the coming holidays on time this year.:o) Going about my work gives me quiet time for reflection, prayer and giving thanks. I thought of many of the simple things that make me smile and had to share a few of those things with you. This is not a complete list nor is it in any order as such. As you read my list, think of those things that make you smile and share them with us.

Happy First Day Of Autumn!

It is officially here! Happy first day of Autumn to each and everyone of you! Like so many of you, I am so ready for this beautiful season.

Well I can now upload photos again thanks to my wonderful and dear son-in-law who fix me right up.:o) When it comes to computers, I tell you he is one of the very best!

Oh Blogger!!

Hello all! I sure hope your weekend was a beautiful one and you are rested and refreshed ready to take on the week! Mine has been a beautiful weekend with still yet a few hours left to a lovely Sunday. It was a lazy weekend, the kind without hurry or worry.:o) Just wonderful!

Oh my what is Blogger up to now!:o) I cannot upload photos, not a single photo! Now I have heard of others with this problem but it is a first for me. I guess I will have to wait it out and hope the problem goes away pretty quickly. I really do have some beautiful photos to share with you. I guess I will just have to be patient. Is there anything I can do? In the meantime I have a pretty busy week ahead of me. Reading, writing, creating, special order and oh yes cleaning just to name a few.:o) Does your home get as dusty as mine.:o) I simply do not understand where all the dust comes from.:o) I am one dusting woman around this place I tell you. I dust on Monday and by Wednesday it is back in full force, simply amazing.:o) But I tell you, I really do love my little home and do not mine so much the dust that comes with it.:o)

Gentle Breezes.....

Hello my friends! Hope you are enjoying a beautiful week. Summer is saying its last good bye's and gentle Autumn breezes are saying hello. I have so enjoyed the cool breezes that have filled my studio these past couple of days. I find myself simply sitting with eyes closed taking it all in, wonderful and welcomed.

Just a few days ago a sweet blogging friend ask just how my mending was going, and I thought it has been a while since I updated just how things were going. I feel wonderful! I tell you it has been a journey that has lasted many years and I can now say it is a journey ending. When I think just how far I have come it brings tears to my eyes. God has walked with me each and every step of the way and when I could no longer walk He carried me. I rejoice in His amazing goodness each day. My leg is so much stronger even without a fibula, and my new jaw, well it is doing amazingly well! I even have my implants in place and will be receiving brand new pretty teeth just in time for Christmas! What a Christmas present that will be for I have not had teeth on the bottom left side for five years! :o)


I believe in the power of a smile and not having those teeth in place never stopped me from smiling, no not even once.:o) Just shopping the other day a very sweet woman ask me just what happened that I am in the wheelchair. I chatted with her for at least a half an hour about my journey and God's goodness. His love and kindness is simply amazing! Don't you love letting others know just how wonderful our God is! He is my everything, simply my everything.

Bead play is still happening in the studio! I have placed a few pieces in The Shoppe, and I am so anxious for you to stop by and take a look.:o) I have had such a positive response and that is a good thing! I am not sure if I will continue designing after the holidays, but you never know.:o) Each of you take care and enjoy a most beautiful week filled with nothing but the very best. Chat with you soon.

So Far...Very Good!

Hello all! Hope each of you enjoyed a beautiful weekend and are having a fabulous week! I must say I had a wonderful weekend and are having a most beautiful week, so far...very good!

I am now feeling that wonderful sense of balance!:o) The last few days, well weeks really, I have been organizing and reorganizing, making mental list and jotting it all down and finally it is coming together. I was in a place of knowing my desired direction but getting there was a different story. Taking the time to be still and quiet has been a wonderful thing, refreshing and very much needed. One thing I am most happy about is my reading day. Like so many of you I love to read and was just not getting enough of it in. Yes I was reading a little here and there, but I am one of those readers who can sit for hours with a good book, and a reading day is just what I needed!:o) I also love to do "word" study, and do a lot of that while studying my Bible. I will come across a new word and go wild finding out its origin, ways to use it and the works!:o)


Still a ways to go in completing the new look for the blog. I know when you click over to The Shoppe and "Sites To Visit" it is empty, but all that will change in the coming days.:o) I will also be posting on A Lilac In My Path. I have something pressing on my heart I would like to share with you there. So look forward to a brand new post on Lilac in the coming days!:o)



Thanks so much for dropping by and spending this time with me!:o) I will be doing some beading today among other things.:o) The ladies in my family are thrilled with my completed pieces and look forward to gifting themselves as well as friends for the coming Christmas holiday! What encouraging words, words I try closely to live by each and everyday of my life. The word of God is filled with so many wonderful ways to live a peaceful and whole life through Him. If it has been a while since you last picked up your Bible, dust it off and pour yourself a cup of tea and enjoy! There is absolutely nothing that can compare with spending time with God's Word. Pray, it need not be a long prayer unless you are led to do so, it is through God's Word He is able to speak directly to your heart. So I challenge you my friend to spend time reading God's Word, it will change your life....He guarantees that!:o)
