Good Things....

Hello everyone! Hope your week was a beautiful one.:o) It has been quite busy around our house as of late. I know it has been a few days since I last visited all of you, and can hardly wait to see just what you are up to!

I wanted so to be ready to share just what I have been working on with you this post, but I am afraid I need a few more days.:o) Also a few of you have ask just how my writing was going. It is going quite well I must say. Sharing writing time with all my other projects seems to slow things a little, but I am pleased with my progress. My writing occurs as moments of inspiration which quite often occur in the middle of the night resulting in my quickly jumping out of bed to journal my thoughts.:o) Now there has been times when I refuse to get out of bed and tried to convince myself I would surely remember in the morning. But when morning comes I only recall it in bits and pieces, never do I remember it fully. So I now jump up click on my little light and write.:o) One day soon that little book I have so wanted will come to complete and full fruition.:o)

Oh the beautiful shades of autumn. I had to share these beautiful autumn leaves with you. I find myself several times a day going to the window just to admire the beauty of this old tree and its magnificent display of sheer beauty. Another of those simple but good things.:o) Well my friends another busy day for me today so I guess I better get going. You and your family enjoy a beautiful weekend. By the way, I hope each of you know just how much I appreciate you. My blogging buddies are the very best!:o)

Autumn is very nice. This week we had the first frost during the night. It is very early this year. The weather was lovely though, very sunny.
Have a nice weekend!

What a beautiful tree you have just outside your window! I think I could just sit and look and look at such a beauty. :)

It's wonderful to hear you are making progress with your writing and the secret project. I'm looking forward to hearing of both soon.

Hope you have a grand weekend!

Thank you, Beverly for these beautiful star leaves of autumn. It's really a colourful season and I am surprised every year of its beauty.
What you say about writing is true. I experiment it myself, because inspiration comes at any moment and sometimes in incomfortable circumstances. I always have a little notebook in my bag during the day to draw or to write and it happens often that I must awake in the night to write an idea or it is lost in the morning. But it's better than the dry time when I get no idea. Even this time is necessary because I know that something is preparing in my mind and I just have to wait for new inspiration. Does it happens to you also? Personnally, I have also a great work in correcting my writings, to choose exactly the right words, the right sentences as the most expressing ones.
I hope that your book is going quickly, much more than mine (it's a polar novel about art and Limoges, my native town). I'm very busy and I need to go to the places that I wish to describe, because I think it's better not to invent but to feel for the descriptions. What do you think about this method? I'd like to know how you are writing.
Have a nice weekend!

I can imagine that I would go to the window too if I had these beautiful leaves outside my door! Those deep reds and deep oranges, there is nothing like the colors of fall. Nothing to complain here with the palm trees, but they just don't change colors, unfortunately. ;)

Hello, Beverly,
The autumn colors on the leaves are so very beautiful. Only God could make a color so rich and lovely. I am like you, if I don't jot down my thoughts quickly, they will be gone. Thank you so much for coming by for a visit today. I always enjoy your company! Vicki

Hi Beverly!

Oh how I can relate to the "losing the thought" you think the good ideas come when you're still and quiet? I zip around all day and then, often when I should be sleeping, I'll get a profound thought or idea. I never get up. I guess I should start. It's so frustrating.

I'm so happy to hear your writing is going well. I can't wait to see your book published. Whew...there are lots of authors here in blogland. How exciting.

I love the colour of those leaves. I squeezed in a walk in the park yesterday and it was beautiful ~ I'm going to post some photos.

Thank you for your good wishes Beverly ~ actually, this week's exams have been postponed, which is a huge relief, as I had not had sufficient time to study for them.

Enjoy the rest of your week.

Beverly: Such perfection in how Mother Nature has painted the Autumn colors and your photos capture them beautifully!
I also find that when I have much on my mind re:postings..I carry a notebook around and am always jotting words, sentences, ideas, and when I take a photo or see the image I already know what direction the writing will take me!
It was nice to drop in on you today.
a healing spirit NG

God's paintbrush has been everywhere this season! Such beautiful colours in your leaves.

I had to laugh about you getting up in the middle of the night ... it reminds me so much of myself! I get my best ideas either in the middle of the night or while I'm in the shower ... I guess that's when I'm most relaxed. I've tried to convince myself I'd remember things in the morning but I never do. :)

Have a wonderful week! I'm looking forward to reading about your latest project.

Oh those nighttime ideas are the greatest! My wheels start turning when I shut my eyes! It's fun, isn't it?
I'm anxious to hear your announcement :)

How ironic that the moments of inspiration occur most at the most inopportune time! It does help to have a notebook and pencil handy by the bedside. I tend to jump out of the shower abruptly and loudly talking to myself so i don't forget my thoughts by the time i get dressed!

Year after year I am amazed at the beauty of the fall leaves - yellow golds, oranges, russets --it is all so spectacular! Thanks for sharing your photos.
Have a great week,
