A Little White Poppy!

Hello my friends! Hope you are enjoying a lovely week. Mine has been wonderful thus far I must say. Thank you so much for all your kind comments regarding Honey and my anniversary! We enjoyed a beautiful day!

Honey often takes the camera with him to work for photo opportunities, and right outside his office was this sweet little white poppy with a little pod soon to bloom nestled closely by. You know when I look at something so beautiful I cannot help but smile. What a wonderful and thoughtful Creator we serve! Not only did He speak the world into its existence, but our God loved us so much that He would place such loveliness that fully surrounds us daily. As many of you know, long drives are one of my favorite things. It is then I can take in just what God has so graciously placed here on earth for our enjoyment and delight. Have you ever seen a field of lavender. How breathtaking is its beauty! Right next to my sink in the kitchen in a pretty white soap dish lies a beautiful bar of handmade lavender soap. Throughout my day I will pick it up and enjoy its fragrance and the softness of its lather and bubbles between my fingers! I love beautiful handmilled soaps and always keep one near by. One day I will have to share a few photos of my treasure chest with you!:o) It is filled with handmilled and beautifully embossed soaps, many given to me by my daughter.

This little white poppy so inspired me and I simply wanted my Heavenly Father to know I see and appreciate all that He has done. He is such a generous Father, not only did He give His Son our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, but He has bestowed upon us blessings too numerous to recount. I love Him so much!:o)

Smiles...

Beverly

A beautiful picture that Honey took. I've only seen fields of Lavender in books. To see it in person must be a wonderful marvel to behold.

I do so enjoy coming by, you have such beautiful things on your post. Yes our Lord has created wonderful things that surround us, but some are so busy that they do not take the time to smell the roses. Thank you for coming by and leaving such kind words.

My prayers to you regarding your upcoming surgery...I know all will be ok...

Haha! I ALMOST blogged about a single bar of soap today. It has an embedded (soap) lilac in it :)
Your husband's poppy out the window reminded of me of when I was in a month long training for American Airlines in scorching hot Dallas...away from my family and homesick...I got up one morning and out my window God had given me a wee tiny, tiny SCREECH OWL who was awake and staring in at me! The sweetest thing ever! It made my day :)

What a beautiful post, Beverly! Little luxuries like beautiful soaps are always a pleasure to have around. The last time I saw a field of lavender was in the south of France but I still remember the fragrance as we drove by.

Have a wonderful week!

Hi Beverly! I've been catching up on your posts, so terribly behind in my blog reading. I just love the way you glorify God in every post.

Reading your blog is like stepping into the home of a gracious host who has lovely things and enjoys sharing them with her visitors.

A belated happy anniversary, by the way. I will be praying for you when you have your surgery and are recuperating. Yes, God is good!
