Hello to each of you! I sure hope the starting of your week is a wonderful one! I just had to share these beautiful hybrid calla lilies with you. The darker are the beautiful Amethyst lily and the other a pretty pink.....so beautiful! Honey was able to take a photo of them at our local florist....

I have plans to up date my craft blog soon. I must admit I have been a little slack in this area, but I have been crafting mainly knitting. I have had neck cozies and summer scarves coming out of my ears! :o) I have five more promised scarves to knit and I will be moving on! I have a lovely little patchwork blanket I will be starting for my grand baby and I want to knit cupcakes. I have been wanting to knit these little pretties for a while now, and I think they make a soothing little summer knit. :o) The pattern can be found in the book One Skein by Leigh Radford, quick and easy little projects that only take one skein....now that's my kinda knitting! I have quite a bit on my plate this week so I better get going. All of you have a most beautiful rest of the week..... Here is a sweet little quote we should all ponder, pass it on.....

Hoping you all are having a lovely Father's Day and an all around beautiful Sunday. As promised, I decided today was the perfect time to share with you the many pretty things that were a part of Betty Jo's recent giveaway. This indeed was a beautiful package, and I cannot begin to tell you how much I enjoyed looking through all the goodies inside! Betty Jo even added a little cotton bodysuit for my new little grand baby, and other little unexpected goodies like a pretty set of note cards...I love note cards, and these are just lovely! Part of the gift was the book Easy Roses, a pretty and very informative little book on growing roses the easy way! The photos are just beautiful! Oh yes there was chocolate too....delicious! And oh my, the little rose jar and Laura Ashley pot holder I will treasure forever. By the way if any of you have not yet visited Betty Jo pop over I just know you will enjoy your visit there! Hello! Hoping all of you are having a most fabulous week! Remember my last post I mentioned my desire to knit little cupcakes! Well here is the beginning of my first! I am using an Egyptian cotton for the base, but truly plan to use a merino wool for my next. Cotton can be sort of pesky to knit with at times....not very flexible! I am excited about this little knit. Sometimes just a small change of pace, a different direction can do a world of good. :o) I also took some time out to find a sweet way to use up some of my many many buttons! You know many of us girls just love our buttons! I happen upon a lovely button tutorial and blog site that was new to me....bingo! I was so excited about this little tutorial I had to try a few button flowers last night, and here they are!
Cute Cute as a button! Now you can add a pen backing and make a brooch, or add a magnet as I plan to do and stick these little flowers everywhere!
