Heart To Heart......

It is the beginning of a brand new week, and what a beautiful Monday we are having! Looking out of my studio window I found myself watching little birds busily about their day, while butterflies flutter around the little white flowers at the window's edge. The air is crisp and warm, the skies a pretty baby blue with puffy marshmallow clouds. What a beautiful gift God has so graciously granted this day.

Receiving an e-mail not so many weeks ago from a very sweet person exclaiming how much she enjoyed Tea Time and Roses. Her words has since stayed with me, as she went on to say she has been thinking of starting a blog for sometime now. But was wondering would she be excepted, or would anyone really enjoy hearing what she had to say. Felt she could never have a place as nice as the wonderful places she often visit. My mind ran back to myself just over a year ago when I was in this place. Oh how I loved visiting all these lovely women and their beautiful blogs. But I could never do this could I? One of the most important lessons learned along the way.... blogging is as individual as you are! That's what makes it so special, and I love that!

We all have unique gifts and talents! There is only one you and that a lone establishes you as a special blogger! I can almost promise you, once you get blogging a whole new world will open up for you! So if you've been on the outside looking in, come on in we are waiting for you!!

The Miracle Of Friendship

There is a miracle called Friendship
that dwells within the heart
and you don't know how it happens
or when it even starts.

But the happiness it brings you
always gives a special lift
and you realize that Friendship
is God's most precious gift.

What a wonderful post, and great encouragement for anyone thinking of starting a blog. Sometimes it gets discouraging-especially when I can't think of anything to write that sounds interesting. I hope you're having a great summer.

Such a lovely post, and what a great idea to encourage people who read our blogs, but perhaps are not sure if they should start one. My blog looks very different than when I began posting. It has taken on a life of it's own and I so enjoy it. The friendships and wonderful encouragement and inspiration that you receive daily is reason enough to begin a blog. Bev, as always you can say something with so much grace. Karen

Your words are so right, Beverly. I only starting blogging at the end of February. I was unsure myself how it would go. Once you start doing it, you just get inspired and it surely takes on a life on it's own.

THIS IS SO TRUE, BEVERLY! One year ago, I really had no map going into blogging. By faith, I knew I was going somewhere and that everything I loved and cherished was on board.

I really believe that we need to be ourselves without apology. God isn't apologizing for who He made us to be. As long as we're living in a way that glorifies Him, He is applauding. Only one person can represent me or Beverly or that dear new blogger.

I am aware that no everyone has my taste or even "gets" me for that matter. It's okay. We just need to be ourselves.

By the way, that first bloom on your blog just about knocked my socks off! Incredible! I am assuming that this is from your own gorgeous garden!

Hugfully, KJ

Karen thank you for your beautiful thoughts on blogging...thank you so much. I am afraid I cannot take credit for that incredibly beautiful dahlia. Honey and I love taking photos of lovely flowers especially roses. We will sometimes take a whole afternoon looking for beautiful blooms to photograph, and many of them come from our inner court garden! This lovely dahlia I found at a very sweet site that offers a few free images of blooms....it is so grand, absolutely breathtaking!

Always such beautiful photos! Oh, I meant to let you know that I loved that last post so much, I went in search of that lace book. I found it after "googling" it and can't wait for it's arrival.

I love to see projects like that, they're so inspirational. Thanks for the book review!!
