Hello to each of you! Hoping your week has been a beautiful one thus far.... This past Saturday was our annual neighborhood "garden walk". I captured a few photos from our court garden and Honey could not resist snapping a photo of beautiful foxgloves. There is something absolutely magical about foxgloves....you know sweet little fairies live among the foxgloves, or at least that's what I am told. :o) When it comes to beauty, this little orchid takes the cake...just lovely it is! Growing something as beautiful as these orchids I am afraid I can take no credit, but I surely do enjoy them in the court garden! Spring time brings with it so many lovely flowers....
Lovely red amarilla! My Sweet Mother's favorite color, this beauty would surely capture her heart!
Above is an absolutely beautiful cactus flower. It is so hard to believe that something so lovely could blossom from a not so beautiful cactus! These flowers always bloom right in time for Mother's Day each year.....beautiful they are!

I am so happy that the earth laughs in flowers!! Have a lovely week.... By the way I have something special next post! :o)Please let us all remember the people of central China in our prayers.....
Smiles...
Beverly

The banner is great!!! did you make the cone?
Foxgloves are my fav and I can't for the life of me get any 'going'....year after year...buying ,planting, sprinkling...I think the fairies are doin' somethin' they shouldn't....
All so beautiful, each in its own way. And praying for healing of lives after the quake.
What lovely pics of the flowers...

That foxglove is remarkable! Are those pretty resilient to weather and pests? What vivacious color!
I would have loved touring this garden in person. Of course, your blog does wonderful justice, but in person...hmmm, that would be heaven!
I also like the touching tribute to you Mom... Someday, I'll get to meet her!

KJ
