So much better.....

I am so so much better, I cannot remember the last time I was that ill... Not a long post here today, as many of you may know San Diego is fighting several wildfires and thousands and thousands of evacuations... Most of the evacuations are taking place in the north east and east counties. Honey and I live in the west just minutes from the ocean, we are ok although all schools, colleges and universities in all counties are closed until further notice. To give you an idea just how close we are to the fires, it would take about fifteen to twenty minutes to reach any of these areas by car... We are glued to our televisions and the internet watching the every move of these fires, and have done little else for the past few days... We need your prays, and thank you to each and everyone of you for your kindness regarding my little bug.... I remember my Mom use to say when we were children "If it aint one thing, it is another"... That may be true sometimes, but I am hanging in there. It will all be behind us soon...

Look forward to another post in a few days... I have some good things to share! :o) Some work in progress, and some Etsy Shop news! Talk to you all in a few days...

Lovely thoughts.....

Beverly

I'm glad you're on the mend! Those fires are almost unreal in their magnitude. I'm praying that the winds die down or y'all get some rain. My husband is suppose to leave Sunday for Cali for a conference and as of right now they haven't cancelled it.

Can't wait to hear your Etsy news!

Every time I'd peek in at your blog and see that purple flower I would be concerned that you were still ill. So glad to hear that you are getting better. Love the bright yellow flower to express it.

Here on the East Coast prayers are being sent heavenward for all of you in CA dealing with those horrible fires.

Take Care!

Oh I have been so wrried about you. I wrote you a long email but the postmaster returned it said I had the wrong address. Please send me the address again so I can see if I copied it wrong. I am glad you are not near the fire and are feeling better. My Mother's brother and one of her sisters live near the area where the fire is. They are both in their 80's so my 77 year old Mother is so worried about them. We have been in contact with them several times and thet seem to be doing okay for now. Blessings Mary

So glad that you are feeling better, and gladder still to learn that you are safe from the fires. My sister, Lynne and her husband just moved from L.A. to North Carolina. Otherwise they would have been right in the middle of this devastation. My prayers are with you. I look forward to visiting your Etsy shop and learning about new treasures. Blessings, Karen

Good to hear you are better, and even happier to know you are fire safe. We have been biting our nails... we evacuated, then got the all clear, so we are in our home again, but scared and stressed. Crazy times, yes? Stay safe.

Oh, Beverly, am so glad I made it here, today. I had no idea you were so close to the wildfires, or that you had been down for the count with a bug. So glad you are on the mend, and at least the you all are still out of range of the fires! I remain stunned at the magnitude of all of this, and you and your Honey will sure be in my prayers.

I so love seeing your wonderful faith and gentle perspective on life, and am looking forward to hearing your good news in days to come! Hugs. :-)

I'm glad you are feeling better Bervely. One of the store owners where I sell my scrap kits, Kathryn Balint, lives in Poway and her mother is only five miles from there. They were both evacuated, but are home now and their homes did not burn down. Other friends have been evacuated too, but I haven't heard how they are doing. I so hope you will be ok, with no damage to your home. I'll hold you in my prayers. xoxo

Glad you're feeling better. We've had lots of the Californian wild-fires mentioned on our news, seeing the destruction is terrible. A whole lifetime of memories. I hope you manage to stay away from all of it.

I have missed you while you were sick, I am glad you are feeling much better. The fires are so sad I live in Corona and it is smokie here from the different fires around. I am about a 20 min. drive so I feel safe but my heart goes out to everyone that is hurting. I will say a prayer for you and your family that you may stay safe.

Just swinging by again to let you know that you are daily being thought of, and that I hope you remained in your own home, with good air outside, and are wonderfully on the mend . . . and that you and Honey are having a good week-end, especially after all that you and your fellow Californians have been through! Hugs. :-)

I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better. Nothing worse than not feeling well. Have been watching the fire situation closely, my daughter lives just outside OC and works in Irvine. After living in CA for over 30 years, we can relate very much to people living in those fire areas.
Can't wait to hear more about your etsy store...I'm working on getting my up as well.
